My life is fantastic now, but it wasn't always that way...
First, allow me to say how gratifying it is to have brought the idea of this site, this women's community, to life. I love that even before it was completed, there was already a membership budding.
22 years ago a family crisis set me on a path of personal growth and self-exploration. And I must admit that it has been the most fascinating thing I've ever done. Not only is it fascinating to understand something new about myself and gain a new awareness, it's even more satisfying when my new learning improves my behavior, my reactions to others, my sense of self-assurance, my ability to love and be loved and my ever-evolving joy and happiness. |

After 2 years of Jungian therapy, piles of self-help books, hours participating in workshops and seminars I took one seminar that was so transformative that I wanted to make it available to other women. It was called Entelechy and it completely changed my life.
I was a successful interior designer in Montecito, California, with a gorgeous office on Coast Village Road, a very exclusive neighborhood. After training to become a facilitator with Marti Glenn, Ph.D., I began to offer Entelechy workshops in my office. I facilitated 3 to 4 workshops at a time for a couple of years.
Most of the time it was a group of 8 women (I kept the group size to 7 or 8) and hundreds of women have taken this workshop from me. Even today, several years later, I run into women who tell me how transformative Entelechy was for them and that they still use the skills they learned from me.
Then I Wrote A Book and Everything Changed
At a certain point I determined that I wanted to ro more public speaking so I wrote a book as a way to open doors. I went on book tour across the country, my book in most every Borders and Barnes & Noble. I spoke in every major city except Chicago (very tough town for media) and many smaller cities and towns along the way.
Because of my growing reputation I was interviewed on hundreds of radio shows across the country and dozens of TV news shows and the occasional local talk show. I was a regular in Cosmopolitan, Women's World, and a variety of local publications. I loved it all but radio was the most fun. (I now have a radio show you can listen to every Tuesday at 3:00 PST or listen to later on the recordings. Listen here )
When I returned from touring with my book I created a website to market my book and to be able to sell it as an ebook to those women around the world who were finding out about it. From there I created other websites, which grew into a variety of topics from dating, committed love, sexuality (I designed and facilitated a workshop on sexuality) and awakening the spiritual connection to it all. Now, my teachings have evolved into teaching women how to open their hearts to themselves, to their life, to their loved ones and to a love life that is soul fulfilling.

Learning to love...
Because a lot of what I do is teach women how to manifest their deepest relationship desires, I must tell you about my own relationship.
I met this beautiful man, Chris Manning, in January of 2004. I told him I wanted things to unfold in their own way, in their own time. We've used that as our guide for allowing the growth that relationship forces on anyone trying to create a shared life and we've both grown beyond our wildest dreams.
No relatioinship is always smooth, but we've chosen to put in the effort and it's paid off. |
This website and this beautiful growing community of women who not only care about their own person growth but want to share and inspire other women to open their hearts, is generating a new kind of woman who are dedicated to making themselves and the world better.
I hope you will want the same soul-fulfilling gift for yourself and for the women you know. Please use the Tell-a-Friend link to the left to share this site with other women.
From my heart to yours,
The Heart Whisperer™
